Joe the Plumber

Shower arm pipe broke off of drop ear. They fixed the pipe but damaged our shower head in the process. Also charged us to look at our kitchen sink and tell us where the water was leaking from (anyone could see where the water was leaking from). Called to complain that they damaged our shower head. The plumber came back out to take a look at the shower head and said it was a defect in the shower head. It was not leaking before they came to fix the pipe. Had to complain that they charged us extra to look at the kitchen sink and then damaged our shower head. They said they would install a new shower head but we would have to buy it. They didn’t end up fully installing it because a full install would cost more money. A really nightmare and a huge charge.

Nice people working for this company, lack of transparency was our issue. My wife called to have a wax ring replaced on our toilet which was causing a leak and was told standard charge to come out (completely understand this) $90 or so perfectly fine and reasonable…. Plus parts and labor which they can tell us “when they arrive” that’s when It should have clicked. This was a wax ring replacement (basic for a plumber I’d imagine) I figured $2-300 tops. This job once they came out was upwards of $700 for what took 1 hour. $700 for a wax ring that cost $15. I can see why this company has the billboards and mega advertising going. One other thing I can see is that I won’t recommend them or use them again. Looking back I would have been better off taking the time away from my job to do it, beware of these tactics because once they are at your home and tell you the mind boggling costs for basic service repairs you will either have to accept it or lose the $90 and time which I wish my wife had done. Since then I had another entire toilet replaced by another plumbing company and that was $400 labor for an ENTIRE TOILET REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION.

Cannot say enough good things about Joe the plumber. We had a flood in my parents basement yesterday with 5 inch of water from a frozen pipe burst. Joe came on an emergency and fixed the broken pipe. He also gave us recommendations on restoration companies. Highly recommend!

Honest, Kind, and Caring. If you need a plumber call these guys. The woman over the phone i believe her name was Maria was very kind, direct and helpful. The team that came out (Weston and Kyle) we're polite, friendly and took the time educate me on some ways I could better maintain my homes plumbing. They were able to arrive early, called ahead to notify us as such, and when they arrived got right to work diagnosing our issue. They were open and upfront about prices and what my different options were to solve the problem. I elected to snake the drain and they went to work. Ultimately they found that the issue was solved without needing to snake it and thusly we were only charged for a diagnostic fee and the service fee, saving us nearly two thirds of what the expected cost was. My thanks to Weston and Kyle and Maria you're all amazing representatives of your company.

Weston came sooner than anticipated. He worked quite a while with the snake and cleaned out the clog. Most appreciative!! Good Job. (SR)

Any world where it is very hard to find reliable and trustworthy contractors I have to take a minute to recognize Joe and his team at Joe the Plumber. Christmas Eve and his crew was here on time got the job done on budget. from the first interaction with their website through the conversation with dispatch and each of the professionals that have showed up at our home over the last two days to deal with this nightmare the experience has been above and beyond what we would have expected. The communication and their systems are impressive. I could not recommend Joe and his company more. Merry Christmas guys

Had a root in my sewer drain causing back up in the basement. Contacted Joe the Plumber and they were able to come and put a camera down the line. They saw a blockage so I ok'd them to do a dig. Few days later they made necessary arrangements (to get town to give location of lines) then proceed with digging up the problem. Replaced the problem section of the drain pipe all with in a few days of first contacting them. With a pregnant wife stressing about the whole situation, Weston, Dillon and Xavier were first class during the whole process. Thanks Willy for getting me in!! Ya'll the best!!! ”
